CENSUS 2020 – Please go to and fill out your census right away – it takes about 10 to 15 minutes. If you don’t have a secure connection, or you’d prefer to answer by mail, you should be receiving paper questionnaires later this month that you can mail back. Or you can respond via phone by calling 1-844-330-2020. All census response data is safeguarded by Title 13, which prevents the Census Bureau from sharing it with other parts of the government – including the courts and law enforcement agencies.

Whatever you do, please make sure that Yonkers Counts. Please enjoy the following video made by the City of Yonkers.

STEVEN L. WILLIAMS, a senior at Lincoln High School in Yonkers, has been selected to compete in the 2020 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship! A perfect score on his MOS Word 2016 exam during the 2019 Summer Youth Employment Program garnered him an invitation to attend the National Championship at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, June 15-17, 2020.

However, due to the difficulties resulting from the COVID-19 crisis, the structure of the 2020 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship is being adjusted. The health and well-being of the students and teachers are the biggest drivers for this change.  While it is disappointing that the students will not be recognized for their hard work and congratulated in person, the Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship committee is looking at alternative options for this live event.

We are all extremely proud of Steven and cheer him on. His hard work and dedication have truly paid off.
